How did Sulakshana Pandit die? Her life and times!

MUMBAI: Famous yesteryear playback singer and actress Sulakshana Pandit has passed away. The news was first broken on social media sites as fans posted the messages, which were however unverified.  According to sources, the famouse singer was not keeping well and as per sources was hospitalised. Some reports have allegedly claimed that she was mentally unstable in her last years and also had psychiatric and psychological issues and was under medication for depression, anxiety and hallucinations. She was 71 years old. Some social media users claimed she died of a massive heart attack, while others said she passed away of natural causes due to old age. An official statement from the family is awaited.

The exact reason for her death is not yet known, but fans have begun mourning her demise as the news trickled in. Some Hindi news portals including Amar Ujala and NDTV Hindi were the first to break the news.
