Remember South Korean singer, AOORA, who won the hearts of Indian fans after appearing on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 17? The singer is once again in headlines after he released a new single dedicated to Lord Shiva ahead Of the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri. Titled Shiva Shivam, the track showed Lord Shiva not simply as a religious figure, but as a symbol of powerful energy.

The fresh track is seen in the form of the Hindu god. While dropping the teaser on Instagram, AOORA penned, “Today marks the third anniversary of my arrival in India. I remember how I felt when I first arrived in Delhi, and then I traveled to Mumbai and many other places in India, gaining so many experiences and receiving so much love.”He added, “I’m grateful to God for all of it, and I want to learn even more. I want to dedicate this song to everyone who has been a part of my journey. This is not a song but a prayer which I hope will reach everyone’s heart.”Who Is AOORA?

Park Min-jun aka AOORA is a South Korean singer and composer. He arrived in India nearly four years ago and has been gaining popularity in India with his unique musical fusion. From electrifying performances to Indo-Korean remixes, he has built a strong connection with Indian audiences.

His catalogue of Indo-Korean remixes includes Thi Thi Thara, originally a viral song from Kerala that entertained fans not just for its catchy beats, but also for the effort Aoora put into learning Malayalam to perfect his rendition. Holi Re Rasiya, an energetic track with Hindi and English lyrics, also became a festive anthem in 2024.
